F17+ RC Quadcopter Drone

Drone is easy to fly. Assembly is easy. Controls respond well. Great first drone.flight time is ok about 11 minutes.

<Disclaimer> I am pretty new to the whole world of drones </Disclaimer>After playing for a month with my reasonably expensive "camera" drone I recognized that (a) my pilot skills are really-really limited (b) I didn't crush only because in that "camera" drone all of the positioning gadgets work as designed (c) I would really-really hate to break that drone.So, I decided to experiment on something basic that I am not afraid to "hang" on the various pine trees around the house. This $60 drone perfectly fit that category - and it even had some fun extras, so kids (I have 4 of them) would also enjoy it afterwards (as long as it survives :-) )To summarize:- it has very sensitive controls! I would consider it a plus, since I am an amateur musician – but some beginners may find it difficult. So, please, fly “low and slow”- nice lights! Even in the twilights the drone was very visible.- flight time as specified (I definitely got above 15 min), but it would’ve been great to have another battery (although, I don’t think that finding something compatible would be a problem)- altitude hold does its job perfectly (was very surprised to get it in the entry-level drone)- well-designed controller with understandable trimming mechanisms. But trimming has to be applied pretty often, especially if you have any wind. This drone is very light, so it is seriously impacted by slightest breeze. So, even the drone holds the altitude, you HAVE to lift it up in the area where you can apply some adjustments.- it FLIPS in all directions (my 5 yo son was amazed 😊 )- FPV is acceptable (didn’t notice any connection losses, and I flew it in a very WiFi-heavy area)- quality of photo/video is limited at best (see attached). But that is understandable - because of no position stabilization functionality whatsoever.- unfortunately, voice controls don’t work (that’s why I took one star from the review), but that may be an Android app bug (will update if it would be fixed in the future). Although, I doubt that this functionality is really needed – this drone is to LEARN how to fly! If you want to rely on AI – get a different model altogether!Overall, I would consider this drone as a fun addition to my fleet – not necessary, but definitely entertaining and doing its job of teaching me to fly.

I will admit this is my very first drone. I've wanted one for a long time, but I could never justify the purchasing of an expensive toy that I would likely not use all that often. I am very pleased with this little drone. It connects to my phone very easily, and the flight controls a relatively intuitive. I really enjoy playing with this toy, and I call it a toy because I don't think this drone is meant to produce professional level results. That said, it shoots really nice smooth video, and I love using it. I find myself trying to come up with things to do with it. I travel a lot, and this is going to be a part of my essential travel gear now. There have been so many times I've wish I had one for taking pictures when I couldn't get the right vantage point. This drone allows me to capture images I otherwise would not be able to get. I have to say, that I am happy with this drone, but now I want a nicer one. This is a great intro drone.

A great drone. We tested it on the school playground. It flew very high and steadily, and it could do somersaults in the air. The children love it and had a great time. Once, the drone hit a tree and fell from the high tree. There was no damage, indicating that it is strong. After fully charged each time, you can fly for about 15 minutes. Great value for money.

For the money you’re spending this is a perfect drone for anyone who hasn’t flown one. Controls are simple and easy to use , setup is just as easy. The video I posted was on a rather windy day and I had to adjust to flying the smaller drone (I’m used to fly much bigger and heavier drones) after getting my trim settings adjusted this drone was super fun to fly and the camera is much better than more expensive drones. I would recommend this drone for a first time flyer for ease of setup and price .Fun drone !

Easy to operate. Kids use it to chase each other. Good for practicing social distancing LOL....our previous one had flew away with the remote still in our hands. Good that this one still stay with us.....

Everything worked great no problems with it.

Easy to assemble but instructions were not really clear. Trial and error got it to working but half the time it will not connect to the phone for pictures or videos. Once you get a hang of it is, it might get easier. It is great for beginners. Great drone to practice in before spending more money on expensive highly sophisticated drones.

I really wanted to learn how to fly drones. I wanted to start with something cheap, and I found this drone. It is a perfect drone for beginners. I have never flown a drone, and I am enjoying this drone. It is easy to fly, and I am getting better at it. I feel that I can learn a lot and become a pro. It is absolutely worth the money. There are many features and you can learn em easily.

Better than I expected! It has solid quality and good looking. If you follow the instruction, it is very easy to install and use. Very stable taking off and landing and easy to control. have not try the camera and the app yet. Will explorer more!

I am new to this hobby, this drone comes with great instructions manual with all labeling . Talk about the 4k camera. Wow it's got WiFi capabilities. you can mount the action camera with the drone and fly it with smooth performance. The flight taste footage came out awesome.

I love this drone and have never flown a drone with so much thrust and power while still being controllable and relatively simple to fly after you get the hang of it. I have to admit, I crashed this drone quite a few times while having fun with it, but the good news is that every time I crashed, whether on concrete or grass, there was no actual damage to the drone. I was genuinely amazed at the number of safety features this drone has and they definitely prevented more serious damage to the actual drone. (Also this will probably be pretty long because I have a lot to say see the video above)

CONTROLS and USABILITY: I love the design of the controller and it has all the necessary buttons for a beginner, all the way up to an advanced pilot like myself. I even tried out the flip function, and although it was pretty scary, I was surprised that the drone could do it so well, even with the huge legs hanging below it. Another thing that I like about the controller is that if you bring the throttle stick all the way down, the motors will cut to a very low speed, allowing the drone to descend at a very fast speed. My Mavic Air can't even descend very fast, and when you are in a tight situation, you need an option to descend very quickly. I love this drone!

CRASH PREVENTION: This is my absolute favorite thing about this drone. I still don't consider myself an expert pilot by any means, but when I took off for the very first time, I immediately crashed it and it was not the most fun experience, as I don't like crashing my drones AT ALL. I was super surprised when I saw that there was no damage to the drone or the motors or the propellors or the landing skids at all! Everything was perfectly intact, and even though the motors were still running, the bottom pair had actually been stopped by the landing skids, still keeping it in perfect balance. I was amazed! If you manage to crash it completely on its back, that's all right as well, because they propellors have a little knob at the top that will prevent the scratching of the actual propellors. I love it!

CAMERA: I also really enjoyed exploring the 4K camera that the drone came with. Although I would say that it does not have the same color and sharpness quality as my Gopro, it still gives a very great picture and video from the drone and is easily controllable from the app, which I really love! If there were one thing I would change about this drone it would be to add a GPS unit on it to keep it more stable. The drone will tend to drift a bit in the wind but I can use the controller trim to correct for this. Overall, awesome product and Well-build powerful drone with awesome safety precautions (PERFECT FOR ME)!!!!

I’ve flown expensive drones and this $50 one is comparable to those! Great purchase!
